Privacy Policy

OfflineMedia ("we", "us") operates a vehicle wrap advertising network in Metro Vancouver, BC. This policy describes what personal information we collect from advertisers, drivers, and site visitors, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect and use personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
- Contact and account details — name, email, phone number, provided when you apply as a driver, sign up as an advertiser, or contact us.
- Vehicle details — make, model, year, licence plate, submitted by drivers as part of the application and campaign-matching process.
- Location data — while a driver has an active shift, our driver app records GPS coordinates, speed, and timestamps to calculate distance driven and coverage for advertising campaigns. Location is only recorded while a shift is manually started — there is no background or always-on tracking.
- Vehicle photos — drivers upload monthly photos of their wrapped vehicle to confirm wrap condition.
- Payment and campaign records — stipend and billing history tied to your account, for accounting and tax purposes.
How we use your information
We use this information to match drivers with advertising campaigns, calculate stipends and coverage, verify wrap condition, communicate with you about your account or campaign, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
What advertisers can see
Advertisers only see zone-level coverage and aggregate campaign metrics. They never see a driver's name, home address, or which specific vehicle is carrying their wrap.
Your rights and choices
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your location and personal-identifier history at any time by emailing register@offlinemedia.ca. Drivers can also permanently delete their account and personal details directly from the driver app (Account → Delete account). Deleting your account removes your login and personal identifiers; route and payment history tied to past campaigns may be retained in de-identified form for accounting purposes, as required by law.
Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by tax and accounting law. Location history is retained for the duration of the related campaign plus a reasonable verification period, unless you request earlier deletion.
